Instruction Manual for Lenovo Vantage Update

If you possess the Lenovo notebook, it is a good idea to check the Lenovo Vantage Updates from time to time.

To open the Lenovo Vantage you can press the window key on your keyboard  and type Lenovo Vantage and open the application.

Depending on your version you should see one of those layouts of the app. Click on System Update or Update to get into updates session.

After opening the update session, you will either be prompted to check for the updates or the check will proceed automatically. The next step is to choose the updates which you want to install.

For sure select all the critical one and for better performance of your laptop, it is good to install also all the Recommended updates by selecting the checkboxes.

Pay attention to the updates which are going to be installed, some of them require a reboot (restart) of your laptop, so please make sure your work is saved before the installation of the update.

It is good practice to restart the computer after updates anyway.

Depending on the size of the updates it might take more than 15 min. to download and install the updates.
