Instruction Manual for Windows Update

If the icon of Windows update  occurs, you either might click on the icon to get into the Windows Update Settings or

you can press the Windows button  on your keyboard and start typing Windows Update settings in order to get into the Windows Update Settings.

You might be prompted to  or the updates will start the process automatically as you open the Settings.

 

Please be ready that this process could take more than 30 minutes and restarts of the computer will be most likely required, therefore please save your work to prevent losing anything.

Windows Update will at first download all the updates, one after another, and then the installation will proceed. 

 

It is highly recommended to not turn off the computer during the Updates as it might corrupt your system.

Once the Updates or part of them are done, you might be prompted to restart the computer.

 

After the restart, you will either be done or the Windows Update will continue with the next updates.
