Basic troubleshooting steps:

 

  • Confirm whether or not the projector and the computer are powered on. Note: the image won't be projected if the computer goes to sleep mode.

       Ensure that the power cables are properly inserted into the power outlets. If using a power extension cord, check if it is turned on.

  • Select the right source on the projector.

       Even though ILAC projectors are programmed to search the source automatically, you can do it manually by clicking on the "Source" button.

       Press the "Source" button directly on the projector or on the remote control when available, and wait a few seconds for an image to appear.

  • Verify whether or not the computer is set to present a second screen.

        On the desktop keyboard press Windows key + "P" key and set the Project display to be either "Duplicate" or "Extend".

  • Confirm the display cables and adapters are properly connected to the desktop and projector. Try to unplug and plug them back.

We recommend opening a ticket with the IT team in case none of the steps mentioned above solves the projection issue.
