Import Contacts to Android Cellphone - Google Account

Register Google Account on Cellphone

1 - Go to Settings > Seetings > Accounts > Google > click on your account and check mark Contacts.

            

        

         

 

Login to your Google Contacts through Web Borwser

1 - https://contacts.google.com/ and sign in with your Google credentials

 

2 - Clean up and save your EDMISS contact file in CSV format = (Comma delimited)(*.csv).

      Here are the mandotory columns:     

Address 1 - Region Notes Family Name Given Name Name Address 1 - Type Address 1 - Formatted Phone 1 - Type Phone 1 - Value Phone 2 - Type Phone 2 - Value Phone 3 - Type Phone 3 - Value

NOTE: the HScontactGoogle sample CSV file is attached to this article for download.

 

     

 

3 - On Contacts tab select Import Contacts and upload your CSV file

         

 

4 - To confirm if the import was sucessful, check the Labels section with "todays'date"

     

 

5 - At last, go to your phone and trigger a Google account. Once the sync ends, go to Contacts to check your new imported contacts.
