Solution 1
Verify the OneDrive synchronization.
Step 1 - Right-click on OneDrive App > More > Settings > Account TAB (the first item under OneDrive - ILAC International Language Academy of Canada) > Choose folders > Validate the Desktop folder is check-marked.
Step 2 - Open the Windows Explorer > OneDrive - ILAC (International Language Academy of Canada) > Desktop > Validate the docs/files statuses and the last modified dates
If your OneDrive is proper sync and your files appear on the Desktop folder, go to solution 2 below.
Solution 2
Right-click on an empty area of your desktop > View > check-mark "Show desktop icons"
